Dr. Shivaprakash Hiremath, DMRD, DNB, PDCC

Dr. Shivaprakash Hiremath is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and a Staff Neuroradiologist at Toronto Western Hospital, Canada.

He completed his medical training at Bangalore Medical College, India, followed by postgraduate radiology training and specialized training including a postdoctoral certification course at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, India, and an ESOR Exchange Fellowship in Neuroradiology at Geneva University Hospitals (HUG). He subsequently pursued advanced clinical fellowships in Neuroradiology at the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto, as well as a fellowship in Pediatric Neuroradiology at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Toronto.

Dr. Hiremath's clinical and academic interests include epilepsy imaging, neuroinflammatory disorders, neuro-oncology, and neurodegenerative disorders. He is actively involved in neuroradiology education and research.
