Yujin Suk completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Ottawa in Translational Molecular Medicine where she discovered her passion for biomedical research. She subsequently pursued her joint MD/PhD degree at McMaster University under the mentorship of Dr Sheila Singh where she developed novel CAR T cell therapies for pediatric medulloblastoma as her doctoral project. Currently she can be found scrubbing into operative rooms as a PGY1 in neurosurgery at the University of Toronto. On weekends she strives to walk her husky Millie along the harbourfront or to finish her manuscripts at her favourite local coffee shops.
