Presenter: Dr. Andrew Micieli
Topic: Multidisciplinary Approach in the Treatment of Complex Cases of Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension: A Case of Fulminant IIH.
Biography:
Dr. Micieli is a PGY-3 Neurology resident at the University of Toronto. He completed his undergraduate degree and Business Master’s degree at the University of Toronto, and his medical school training at the University of Ottawa. His research focuses on decision analytic models to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of health technologies. He is specifically interested in stroke prevention strategies in atrial fibrillation. His stroke book "Guide to Hyperacute Stroke Care" was recently accepted for publication/print by publisher Elsevier Canada.
