Dr. Simone Schiavo is a Staff Anesthesiologist and Hyperbaric Medicine Physician at the University Health Network in Toronto, splitting his time between regional and neuro anesthesia at Toronto Western Hospital and hyperbaric medicine at Toronto General Hospital. Originally from Italy, Dr. Schiavo completed his anesthesia residency in Modena, and a Master of Science in Hyperbaric Medicine in Padova (2017), before making his way to Toronto in 2018. He currently serves as Fellowship Program Director for Anesthesia at TWH. His research interests include physiologic changes during HBOT and its applications to cardiovascular medicine, neurology, and critical care.
